The Saturday Club at St. Michael's Myland for 5s to 11s

We've done lots of exciting things in stmixkids.com!

We made a massive poster of all the books of the Bible.

That's it, on the left, when it was hung up in Church.

We made lots of crosses at Easter time,

and if you click the cross on the right, we'll show you some of them.

We started this term in Church where we learnt about the different parts of the Church. We looked at photographs and had to find where they were taken to learn more about our Church. Then we made a clay model of an item in the Church such as the font. We also made chocolate truffles and really enjoyed licking the spoons afterwards.

In October lots of things to learn about Harvest, and we also decorated ginger bread men to look like scarecrows.

At our November meeting we heard the story of how the young Jesus remained at the Temple as his parents headed home. We also heard about the significance of candles in church and made a candle out of cake and icing (yum!!).  We also made decorations to put on our Christmas tree at St Michaels and look forward to the service where we light up all the trees.

In December we are going to act out the Christmas story, play games and finish the year with a party lunch!

Make sure you come to see us from 10am to noon on

the first Saturday of every month!

We always have a fun time together, so why not join us?
